Youngwood, PA - Brooke Kalp and Kylee Surike poured in a combined 48 points on the evening as Westmoreland College defeated the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville 85-59. Kalp added a game high 25 points while Surike netted 23 points in her season high. Rachel Garris assisted with 17 points and Alyssa Kalp chipped in 10 points which saw the Wolfpack improve to (9-5, 2-0). On Saturday, the defending Region XX champion Butler County Community College dominated the game from start to finish in a 79-48 win over Westmoreland College. The Pioneers controlled the game from the opening tip to final whistle as the Wolfpack had no answers and dropped to (9-6, 2-1). Surike paced the afternoon scoring for the Wolfpack with 14 points as Brooke Kalp muscled home 12 points. Westmoreland will look to get back in the win column as they travel to CCAC Allegheny on Wednesday for a 5:00 p.m. tip off.
