Johnstown, PA - Trailing 38-33 at the half, Pennsylvania Highlands Community College used a strong second half surge on their way to a 87-77 win over Westmoreland in the WPCC semi-finals. The Black Bears pressure and zone defense seem to stall the Wolfpack's scoring but Jordan Johnson added 21 points in the set back which dropped the men to (14-12) on the year. Jalen Stevens chipped in a smooth 18 points in the semi-final match-up. The Wolfpack earned their way to the semi-finals show down with Pennsylvania Highlands Community College by downing CCAC Boyce Friday night 94-71. Daniel King poured in 21 points to pace the pack, while Jordan Johnson tossed home 18 points. Jalen Stevens continues his silent scoring as he tipped in 16 points on the night which saw the men improve to (14-11). Up next, the #3 seeded men will head to the Region XX championships on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. and will face off against #6 seeded Butler County Community College. Should the Wolfpack win, they will play the #2 seeded Prince George's Community College Owls on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Montgomery College is this year's Region XX host.
